"Perch" is a progressive metal composition that explores the struggle of existence caught between exhaustion and hope, told through the metaphor of a bird flying on broken wings. The track features a striking contrast between delicate passages woven with clean guitars, piano, and synthesizers, and heavy, intense Djent sections driven by 7-string guitar, creating a sonic landscape where grace and power collide.

The lyrics poetically express the determination and fragility of a being who "doesn't know true rest" yet chooses to keep flying. Even with imitation wings, the act of soaring above darkness mirrors our own contemporary existence. The alternating soundscape of tranquil serenity and fierce intensity embodies the journey of a soul wandering in search of a resting place.

    An independent songwriter and producer from Ibaraki, Japan. Since launching the project in May 2025, bub has created Japanese-language music using a variety of Synthesizer V voices, selecting different vocalists to suit the character and atmosphere of each song. Rooted in djent and progressive metal, his music combines dense, low-tuned guitar riffs with delicate piano, strings, and cinematic sound design. Contrasts between weight and fragility, motion and stillness shape songs about isolation, inner conflict, loss, and the will to keep living. Moving between vivid metaphor and direct confession, bub writes stories that leave room for listeners to find their own memories within them. Influenced by Dream Theater, Periphery, Kalafina, and Japanese video game music, he handles the entire creative process himself from lyrics, composition, and arrangement to mixing and mastering.
