[Intro - Chinese Gong, Taiko, Shakuhachi, Dramatic Strings]
A mighty gong shakes heaven and earth
He tears through clouds and storms ahead
A golden fire burns in his eyes
A fighting spirit no one can extinguish
Raise your staff beneath Eden’s sky
Run with the wolves and never look back
SUN WUKONG—
Rise up and seize the world!
[Verse 1 - Upbeat Anime Rock, Shamisen, Chinese Percussion]
I never learned how to retreat
I leap before I think it through
Even covered head to toe in scars
I laugh and charge into the fight
Call me reckless, call me wild
This restless heart can’t be restrained
But when I see a comrade fall
I’m always first to raise my fist
The stronger the enemy, the brighter I burn
The higher the wall, the more I climb
I’ll outrun the man I was yesterday
And sharpen my fangs for another fight
[Pre-Chorus - Rising Strings, Shakuhachi, Cymbal Swells]
The morning sun ignites the east
The western plains awaken in the wind
Wolves of Eden, gather now
Reach out and seize tomorrow with your hands!
[Chorus - Heroic Anime Melody, Chinese Gong, Taiko, Crash Cymbals]
QITIAN DASHENG! SUN WUKONG!
Let this battle cry reach the heavens!
Every fight is making us stronger
Turn every scar into power tonight!
QITIAN DASHENG! SUN WUKONG!
Hold on to every laugh and tear
Side by side with all the wolves
Run across the land of Eden!
Till the whole world stands as one
Burn on!
SUN WUKONG!
[Verse 2 - Erhu, Chinese Strings, Shamisen, Heavy Rock Groove]
A battle isn’t only about the win
If we lose, we rise and learn again
Even if we fall into the dirt
Every time we stand, we’re stronger still
An enemy you faced yesterday
May one day guard your back in war
Even nights when fists were all we knew
Become the stories that we laugh about
Swing the Ruyi Jingu Bang high
Dive straight into the raging storm
Hear the wolves begin to howl
Their voices push me forward through the dark
[Pre-Chorus - Emotional Build, Koto, Erhu, Taiko]
Every time I find one more to protect
The fire inside my heart burns brighter
If there’s a view I can’t reach alone
Then I’ll stand there with my friends!
[Chorus - Bigger, Emotional Scale, Choir]
QITIAN DASHENG! SUN WUKONG!
Let this heartbeat shake the heavens!
Every fight is making us stronger
Break through yesterday’s limits tonight!
QITIAN DASHENG! SUN WUKONG!
Whatever darkness waits ahead
Carry every wolf’s voice with you
Cut a path toward Eden’s future!
Till the whole world stands as one
Howl out!
SUN WUKONG!
[Bridge - Emotional, Piano, Erhu, Shakuhachi]
What does it mean to be strong?
Is it defeating every enemy?
Is it never losing once?
No
It means reaching out to a fallen friend
And standing up together once again
Every night we cried
Every fight we lost
All of it becomes the strength we carry
So—
We can still go on
We can still grow stronger
Wolves of Eden—
Follow me!
[Breakdown - Massive Chinese Gong, Taiko, Crash Cymbals]
GONG—!
Pierce the heavens!
BOOM—!
Shake the earth!
From east to west, from north to south
No enemy will take this road away!
QITIAN DASHENG!
SUN WUKONG!
[Final Chorus - Grand Key Change, Full Orchestra, Chinese Gong, Taiko, Shamisen, Erhu, Shakuhachi, Choir]
QITIAN DASHENG! SUN WUKONG!
Let this battle cry reach the heavens!
Every fight is making us stronger
Rise beyond the chains of destiny!
QITIAN DASHENG! SUN WUKONG!
Every tear will make us stronger
Side by side with all the wolves
Run across the land of Eden!
Fall a hundred times—stand up again!
Lose a hundred times—just laugh again!
When your comrades stand beside you
There is nothing left to fear!
QITIAN DASHENG! SUN WUKONG!
Let your name roar past the edge of heaven!
Till the whole world stands as one
Fight on!
Howl out!
Run beyond the dawn!
Our one and only—
SUN WUKONG!
[Outro - Deep Chinese Gong, Shakuhachi, Erhu, Distant Wolf Howls]
Beyond the clouds, the morning rises
Another battle now begins
The more we fight
The stronger—
We become
