A hero who sings to save humanity through music. Former freelance music writer Taichi Take, moved by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, resolved to save more people through the power of music. He formed the group in October 2012 with members scouted on the streets. Adopting the concept of loosening up a rigid world, they named themselves You'll Melt More!. You'll Melt More!'s You'll Melt also carries the meaning of loosening up in Japanese sound, creating a double meaning with Melt More. Their gentle lyrics, including messages like It's okay to run away when things get tough, offer comfort to those struggling with pain and hardship. Their sound, rooted in new wave and incorporating EDM, electro, krautrock, shoegazer, hardcore, punk rock, hip-hop, electro-clash, ambient, techno, indie pop, and more. They've released over 130 songs to date. Their album covers, paying a respectful homage to Neu!, ESG, Weezer, Gang of Four, DEVO, Kaoru Abe and Masayuki Takayanagi, SUICIDE, Belle and Sebastian, Prince, HAPPY MONDAYS, DRAGON BALL, Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, The Specials, Primal Scream, Talking Heads, and Sekiri, have also drawn attention. They has also been the subject of much discussion for their collaborations with numerous apparel brands such as Bandai, Village Vanguard, KRY clothing, PIKO, LIVERTINE AGE, Affecter, Kingly Mask, and Sex Pod. SUMMER SONIC, FREEDOM NAGOYA, Dera Rock Festival, Spring Trippin' Ishigaki, Natsu No Mamono, Ringo Music Festival, Yakitori Rock Festival, Sea of Green, Shachi Festival, TIF, @JAM, Mag Rock Fuji Sonic, RESORT JAM, Yatsui Festival, PEANUTS CAMP, Haruban, and many other festivals. They have also performed extensively overseas, with over 20 shows in cities including Italy, Vietnam, Taiwan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok, South Korea. During a live show in Italy, Eurobeat legend Dave Rodgers happened to be in the audience. He fell in love with their song Zombie Dance and offered to remix it, which came to fruition. In Taiwan, they performed at major festivals like Wake Up Festival and Emerge Fest. The current members are Nani, Nerun, Heso, Meari, Raki, and Makoto. Meari released the single Night In Soho in September 2025 as a guest vocalist for the unit Wink Music Service, featuring Sally Kubota and former Pizzicato Five member Keitaro Takano. The single included Pizzicato Five's debut song Audrey Hepburn Complex. The music video for Project I-dreaM's winning song Motto Cho Ai! has surpassed 1 million views on YouTube.
