Koketsumarobitz
Formed in 2021, this poetry driven funk rock band was created through encounters in Waseda University music circle The Naleio and a Latin American studies group.Influenced by James Brown and P Funk, they transform language into physical groove, letting words emerge from the body and move with rhythm.Their performances are not simple playback of songs but immediate and immersive experiences, closer to a ritual or festival where audience, space, and band become one. They are not limited to live houses and actively perform on the streets, expanding what a band can be.They aim to expand their activities internationally with a focus on Asia.
