"Stone Cycle - A Poem of Prayer and the Dawn of Culture" is the second release in this Japanese history series, set in the Jomon period. It paints scenes of prayers offered at stone circles, families gathered around the hearth in pit dwellings, meals gently simmered and shared in earthenware pots, and white shell mounds along the hillside where traces of daily life are laid to rest. All of this is told through the eyes of a woman living in that age.

Where the Paleolithic chapter focused on "the flame for survival," this song takes a step forward to explore "the flame as culture" - to pray, to protect, to share, to remember. An art-pop x folk sound palette blends organic acoustic guitars, simple earthy rhythms, and beats echoing like the heartbeat of clay, creating a mysterious yet warm atmosphere.

The contrast between solemn prayers at the stone circle and the gentle everyday moments of mothers, children, and companions weaves into a single story that speaks both to history enthusiasts and lovers of storytelling. Rather than explaining ancient Japan in a heavy-handed way, this track offers a quiet sense that "they were here too - living, laughing, and praying," inviting the listener to feel that presence across time.
