The release of their debut single and their first overseas live performance-
These challenges and experiences significantly evolved Like-an-Angel's sound. The band's unity grew stronger, their music more dynamic. Lyrics by jekyll, composition by saki .tetsuya.
Vocalist jekyll also deepened as an artist, shaking listeners' hearts with a voice that encompasses everything-pain and hope alike.

They have transcended the label of "cover band," evolving from a tribute band into a truly unique entity.
Their stance, grounded in respect for L'Arc-en-Ciel while relentlessly pursuing their own expression,
truly embodies the spirit of "inheritance and innovation."

Their new song "Crash to Rise" embodies its name-fearlessly embracing conflict and the strength to rise again after falling. It carves out a sound that symbolizes Like-an-Angel's present moment.

Artist Profile

Like-an-Angel
Like-an-Angel is a parallel band led by tetsuya of L'Arc-en-Ciel. Formed in April 2023, the band initially began as a L'Arc-en-Ciel cover band. As they continued to develop their own identity as a tribute band, Like-an-Angel took a major step forward in June 2025 with the release of their first completely original song, "Angel beside yoU." Their second single, "Crash to Rise," followed in December of the same year, marking the beginning of a new chapter as a band with original music of their own. In August 2025, Like-an-Angel performed at LaLaLa Festival 2025, a major music festival held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Their official YouTube channel has surpassed one million subscribers, while their debut single "Angel beside yoU" has exceeded 1.84 million views, reflecting the band's growing presence both in Japan and internationally.
