Lo-fi Morning

Reggae artist "SHAKARA," based in Tokyo, will release a new single titled "Lo-Fi Morning" on June 10th. SHAKARA, an emerging reggae artist, has garnered significant attention across genres, with his previous EP "Street Nerd" reaching the top spot in the Reggae category on iTunes and ranking 17th overall.

Continuing from his previous work, SHAKARA self-produced this release, which was reconstructed and produced using an instrumental track created by his label mate, Daisuke Kazaoka, specifically for live dub performances.

Focusing on the morning after a hangover, this song is a storytelling piece that contrasts the first half, which calmly depicts emotions and situations in the real world, with the second half, which portrays the descent into a dream world. The song incorporates diverse flows and lyrics that adapt to the changing circumstances and transitions that completely transform the music between the first and second halves. The distinct feature of this release is its warm, lo-fi sound with a sense of floating.
