Ruri Tomie & Meguru-an eccentric, free-spirited duo from Ehime-have released their collaboration single, "It's the Real Deal!" ("Honmono Jan!"). It all started when Ruri Tomie drank some delicious juice and exclaimed, "It's the real deal!"-a phrase that instantly struck a chord with Meguru. Inspired, Meguru wrote a song that feels like a love letter placed in a time capsule. Further creative input from Ruri Tomie sparked a new chemical reaction, and with the help of various collaborators-including percussion and upright bass players-the song was brought to release. It is a track that redefines "major" and "minor" on their own terms while exploring the true essence of music. With lyrics celebrating the joy of connecting with others through music, a humorous arrangement, and vocals that fully showcase the unique strengths of each artist, this song is sure to warm your heart.
