宛名すら書かず、そのまま保存してしまった手紙がある。届けなかった。捨てもしなかった。引き出しの奥で、静かに年月を重ねていた文面を、いま改めて開く——薄れたインク、古い紙、途中で止まった言葉。胸の奥から、あの頃の熱がゆっくり込み上げてくる。
このミニアルバムは、そんな「読み返し」のための一枚だ。未送の手紙を時系列で追う記録ではなく、保管された言葉に、いまの感情が重なる構成。冒頭で封筒を手に取り、中盤で当時の気配に触れ、終盤で静かに閉じる。派手な決着はない。あるのは、久しぶりに蓋を開けた夜の余白と、込み上げる呼吸だけ。
全五曲・約十五分半。アンプラグドの響きのなかで、短く、一気に通せる温度。届けるための音楽ではなく、手元に戻ってきた言葉を、いま聴くためのミニアルバム。
