This song was written and composed about 10 years ago when I was still in high school.
At that time, as I accumulated many experiences in my own way, I was discouraged to the point that "there is no such thing as beautiful love in this world" and "I will never be able to truly love people again" by witnessing the difficulty of loving others and the dirty parts of myself and human beings. However, as I continued to write the song in the midst of such disappointment, I found a glimmer of hope that perhaps beautiful love exists somewhere, just that I have not found it yet. I was also able to make a decision to face the idea of love again.

In the ten years between the writing of this song and its release, I have experienced many things. As a member of society, as a husband, as a father, and as my various responsibilities and roles increased, I experienced a lot of happiness and trials, and only now do I feel that I have finally arrived at the answer to this song.
The lyrics and the song have not changed at all from 10 years ago, but the essential content of this song has finally been completed after 10 years.

    Born in Yokohama, currently residing in Kitakyushu. Height: 184 cm. His honest and straightforward lyrics, catchy melodies that stick in your head, and soulful vocals are his strengths. A versatile singer-songwriter who switches between guitar and piano depending on the song. In the fall of his second year of middle school, he enrolled in Music School Voice, a renowned training institution that has produced artists such as Ayaka, YUI, Ieiri Leo, and Vaundy. Since then, he has mastered instruments, vocal training, and music theory from scratch. He currently has over 260 original songs in his repertoire. She creates a wide range of songs, from love ballads that everyone can relate to, stress-free rock, upbeat folk, to strange songs with a bizarre worldview. His motto for songwriting is to capture various moments in life and accompany each person on their journey. Just as music saved him from bullying when he was in junior high school, he wants to be a source of encouragement for his listeners, inspiring them to keep striving in life. His signature song, [Oh, Shit!], is a stress-filled yet warm message song that can be applied to any situation in human relationships, such as school, work, friends, and lovers. He married in 2021, welcomed his first child in 2023, and his second child in 2024. He is currently a working professional who performs live on weekends, a singer-songwriter, and the father of two children. After 13 years of struggle, Kouichi Shiraki finally began releasing music in March 2024! In March 2025, he held his first solo live performance at Shimokitazawa LOFT, which sold out!
