**"HITORI TABI"** is the first collaborative single by Datto and beatmaker Dakoh.
Guided by Dakoh's jazzy trap production crafted around the image of a single ray of light piercing through the water the song captures Datto's reflections at a turning point in his life.
Once driven solely by the pursuit of dreams, he now finds himself embracing family and discovering that the things he values have gradually changed. Yet through those changes, he continues searching for his own answer, expressing that journey through honest, unembellished lyrics.
The title, *HITORI TABI* (meaning "a journey alone"), represents more than traveling by oneself. It symbolizes a life spent continually facing oneself rather than comparing with others. The closing line, "Even that reality was once a dream," reflects the realization that the life he lives today is the very dream he once imagined.
Blending Dakoh's transparent, atmospheric sound with Datto's heartfelt storytelling, *HITORI TABI* is a quiet yet powerful portrait of growth, acceptance, and moving forward at one's own pace.
