This is the second of three consecutive releases by DJ LEAD, Chinito2800, and SALU.
This time, they have released a super cool song, "KANPA!!I" where the two of them interact over an orthodox hip-hop beat.

DJ LEAD has started his career as a producer and has released four songs in 2023, with plenty more to come. The new song "KANPA!!I" is an exhilarating song that fluently mixes Japanese and English and is set to an orthodox hip-hop beat.

The music video that will be distributed simultaneously was shot in Phuket, Thailand, and directed by FEDZ KIID(VIBIN YELLO PRODUCTION), who is active in Bangkok.

DJ LEAD is a regular DJ on New York's prestigious hip-hop radio station "HOT 97" every Monday at 2:00 a.m. (3:00 p.m. Japan time). He also became the first Japanese person to sign a contract with the American agency "SKAM ARTIST", and has been active in nightclubs worldwide.

Chinito2800 is a young Japanese-Dominican rapper born and raised in New York. In addition to delivering melodies that touch the body and soul in hip-hop, R&B, and trap, he also has the talent to navigate reggaeton and dancehall in Spanish fluently. He is also extremely popular on TikTok, with 522,000 followers.

SALU is a legendary rapper in the Japanese rap world who just released his best album, "IN MY ARMS," on August 30th on CD and digital distribution to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of his major debut. Once you see him perform, any listener will be captivated by his worldview.

  • DJ LEAD

    DJ Lead started his career in 1998, where his passion for Hip Hop music, combined with a strong work ethic, saw him grow to become one of the most popular DJs in Japan. Several years later, he caught the attention of the world famous The Heavy Hitters DJ crew, who recruited him as their only Japanese member. In 2013, Lead became the first international DJ to join the world's most influential Hip Hop station, HOT 97 (NYC), with a weekly show called the International Hour. In 2014, DJ Lead made his debut at NYC's biggest Hip Hop festival, HOT 97 SUMMER JAM, which was the event that catapulted Lead into the limelight. His impact on the event resulted in its expansion to Tokyo, in 2016. DJ Lead is a resident at the prestigious 1OAK Tokyo nightclub, which originated in NYC and has since established itself as one of Tokyo's best nightclubs. Lead is signed to Universal Music Japan, where he has released a number of projects, including the Def Jam 30th Anniversary prologue. 2018 marked the 20th Anniversary of DJ Lead, where he celebrated by touring the United States, Europe, and Asia. The same year saw Lead make his debut at Ultra Japan. As a open format DJ, Lead has the ability to move between genres, such as Hip Hop, Dancehall, Pop and EDM. His stage presence and ability to read a crowd, has enabled him to use music to bridge Japan and the rest of the world.
