~2024. The ten-hole diatonic harmonica has undergone a new evolution. HANAMURA Yokan . The first new work in 17 years with the ``multi-stacking playing method'' is the first solo album by Karabiner Studioworks. A number of songs cut out like short stories about viruses, ladders, telephone lines, mysterious flying objects, etc. What are the three Lost Keys that appear and disappear like cutbacks? The fanciful arrangement work is by KINOUCHI Takehiro on double bass. Supporting the music is the by Karabiner Grand Orchestra, a group of craftsmen who can change their ways. In addition, ONUMA Ryoko, an old friend of the saxophone player, will be joining us as a guest.

Artist Profile

  • HANAMURA Yokan

HANAMURA Yokan (ten-hole diatonic harmonica, composer) Born in Osaka in 1972. He has been playing various musical instruments since childhood. Since the age of 20, he has devoted himself to the ten-hole diatonic harmonica and has participated in numerous music events, plays, rakugo, and video productions. He reinterprets ten-hole diatonic harmonica playing techniques from a unique perspective, and plays themes that everyone can relate to, without being tied to old school. Since 2010, he has been working on expanding the possibilities of the diatonic harmonica using the "multi-stacking playing method" that he developed.
