Music, A Unifying Force of Oneness

Oneness describes a state of unity, a sense of interconnectedness.
Everything in the universe, from the Earth, nature to humanity itself, is woven by a shared energy. This concept resonates across spiritual traditions, philosophy, and even in Buddhism.

Yet, in our daily lives, we often find ourselves experiencing a sense of division rather than connection. Dualism, the idea that humans and objects are fundamentally separate, can create a barrier to this feeling of oneness. This disconnection leads to a deep longing for belonging, a desire for peace and contentment.

Our minds, however, have limitations. Our individual perspectives color our perception, sometimes obscuring the true essence of things. This can lead to conflict when reality diverges from our expectations. Ironically, this very struggle to understand may be a natural part of our journey towards oneness = a vast and ever-unfolding reality.

In this context, I believe music offers a powerful bridge to oneness. It transcends the boundaries of time, culture, religion, and language. Music creates a shared space where we can experience this profound connection 'oneness', a feeling often elusive in our everyday lives.

The same note may sound entirely different depending on the performers intention interwoven between the notes, the scene the performer envisions, and the environment in which its heard. This resonates with the field of quantum mechanics and this, too, reflects the essence of oneness.

My hope is that this CD will guide you on this journey towards oneness, a culmination that unfolds when the composer, the performer, and the audience come together as one.
