Childbirth is no joke.
I thought I understood how intense and overwhelming it could be, at least in my head. But until you actually experience it, you can never truly understand what it's like.

To my wife, thank you. You did an incredible job. And thank you for everything.

Every family that has a child has their own unique journey through childbirth. There is no story that goes 100% according to plan. And that's exactly why I feel so incredibly grateful.

Your true birthday-the day you were born-happens only once in a lifetime.

I hope that everyone reading this has someone who celebrates their birthday with them, and someone they can celebrate with.
