日本発のプロダンスリーグ”Dリーグ”所属KADOKAWA DREAMSのオリジナル楽曲”The Woman feat.Ashley prod.KESSO”がリリース。フィーチャリングアーティストには、実力派シンガー・AIも絶賛し、人気ラッパー・¥ellow Bucksの楽曲「You Made Me」にコーラス参加するなど注目度が増す、今年最も飛躍が期待される世界標準アーティスト”Ashley”が参加。
プロデュースにはD.LEAGUE 21–22 SEASONにて披露された、『Chikara feat.OSAMI』や『Symbol feat.T-cray』のトラックプロデュースも手がける”KESSO”が再び参加。
本楽曲は、『The Woman』というタイトルの通り、女性としての強さやプライド、誇りを持ち日々戦い抜く女性に向けた楽曲となっている。Ashleyの力強いリリックと歌声が印象的な一曲である。

” D.LEAGUE (Dリーグ)」”では、各チームそれぞれが試合専用のオリジナル楽曲を新規リリースし、その曲を使用してパフォーマンスを行う。シーズンを通して12戦つまり12曲の新曲を全12チームが隔週で新規リリース行うが、勝負の勝敗を左右する楽曲制作についてはどのチームもそのプライドを掛け全力で取り組む。この楽曲を使用して行われるダンスパフォーマンスは、D.LEAGUEオフィシャルアプリ、5GLAB、GYAO！、 Sportnavi、WOWOW、ニコニコ動画、 ABEMA、U-NEXT、スカパー、LINE LIVE各プラットフォームでライブ配信予定。またこの楽曲を使用したショートダンス動画は各SNSフォーマットにて、KADOKAWA DREAMSオリジナルアカウントをはじめ各メンバーがダンス動画等で発信を予定。
