I composed this piece as a farewell gift for the retired Japan Air Self-Defense Force YS-11FC aircraft (Flight Inspection Squadron specification).
The original aircraft was the YS-11, Japan's first domestically produced passenger aircraft from a time when Japan was thriving. Therefore, I created a bright, upbeat piece with an orchestral arrangement, starting with an energetic fanfare and including an orchestral section that evokes warm memories of the aircraft that delivered the first air travel experience to many Japanese people, along with the addition of electric guitar sounds.
I continued studying classical music from a young age and went on to study composition at Musashino Academia Musicae (dropped out). I currently work as a systems engineer and programmer, utilizing my hobby of electronics. Since the 2010s, I've been publishing works online using sampling and analog modeling sound sources on a DAW. I've temporarily deleted my early works and am currently rebuilding the songs and sounds. I hope to recreate orchestral and big band sounds with a Showa-era feel using Reiwa-era technology. I would have been satisfied if just a few people other than myself had listened to my work, but thanks to TuneCore, my songs have reached so many people, and I'm happy to be using them for a book. I have several works in mind that I'd like to compile, so I appreciate your continued support.
