  "Welcome to UMAworld. I recall the first friend I made upon entering middle school saying to me, 'You're quite the oddball, almost like an unidentified creature UMA suits you.' Initially, I chuckled and brushed it off, but gradually, I found myself resonating with the notion of being a UMA. It seemed to align with who I am, and the fact that it coincided with my given name, Yuma, added to its charm. Adding 'World.' to the mix further enhanced its appeal, creating a sense of vastness and depth. I'm thankful to that friend for inadvertently sparking the inception of UMAworld., a concept deeply rooted within my core. Since the age of 10, I've delved into music, mastering instruments ranging from guitar to drums, piano, and bass, and taking on the roles of songwriter, composer, and arranger. Influenced initially by Japanese visual kei bands, my musical journey expanded to encompass diverse genres like J-pop, black music, EDM, folk, and Latin rhythms. Moreover, fields like science and literature have contributed to shaping my identity. The fusion of these influences gives rise to the works of UMAworld. I often express it like this: 'I create music and other works to satisfy the curiosity within me. The more I pursue it, the more I find myself wanting to explore, and the more I encounter the unknown. It's akin to academia.
