"Kamishibai - Divine Masquerade"
is a Japanese rock track that portrays the world itself as a stage,
where predestined fate collides with the will to choose one's own path.
From the moment people are born, they are given a role to play.
Even what is deemed "right" or "wrong" is often something
they are made to perform within a script already written for them.
And yet-
there are those who question that script, tear it apart,
and continue to stand on the stage anyway.
On a stage with no escape, the question is not
"How should you perform?"
but
"How will you live?"
Resisting the story drawn by the gods,
this song captures the resolve to take a step forward
using one's own words and choices-
expressed through ritualistic rhythms and driving, fast-paced sound.
No applause is needed.
No audience is required.
The one who brings down the curtain is not a god,
but the will that continues to choose.
