The long-awaited 7th album by reggae artist THUNDER, his first in two years, is finally complete. The album contains 11 tracks filled with joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness.

The album starts with an intro that expresses anger toward the current reggae scene, followed by Not Easy, re-mastered and recorded, and then Like a Tokiwa, a new dancehall tune. The next track, Boss, sung entirely in Patois, was created during a month-long trip in Jamaica during the albums production, capturing the essence of authentic reggae like any Jamaican artist.

Tatakatteru Yatura was sung with the Amabaku Crew, featuring HAMAHKEE, Ikkei, Haruki, and 9loud9, who are seen as future leaders of the scene, making a song that challenges the current reggae scene. Additionally, the participation of Japanesemagenise in the essential ganja tune adds a crucial element to the album.

The track Luv a Ganja surpasses the previous song Legalize It, which received a great response. Other tracks include Ghetto Youth, reflecting THUNDERs inner thoughts and feelings, Holiday -Tekito na Uta, a portrayal of THUNDERs daily life, and One Life, produced with EMPEROR, both strong supporters of the scene in their hometown Amagasaki.

Letter to Write Last expresses lost love and gratitude, revealing THUNDERs humanity. The albums final track, I Dont Care If I Lose, is a medium-tempo song reflecting the feelings THUNDER has experienced while moving forward without stopping. In this track, THUNDER emphasizes, it is important to give your best even in defeat. Face challenges without fear, and always do your best regardless of age or place.

This album, titled UPDATE, encapsulates all these songs, marking THUNDERs new chapter in music.
