This song is a rearranged version of the song "Metamor Travel 2020 (all guitar ver.)" that was provided to the omnibus CD "Nihon no Guitarist 2 ~Japanese 14 Guitarists~", which aimed to support Japanese live music clubs that were in dire straits due to COVID-19 in 2020. The song "Metamor Travel 2020 (all guitar ver.)" has been rearranged, reborn as a new song, and released as a digital single!

The title of this song is a cross between "metamorphose" and "travel," expressing the image of being able to move freely anywhere with music, even when forced to stay at home, and of changing musical expression and emotion from section to section.

The new version is more show-conscious than the original version, with new additions such as 808 handclaps and funk strumming, and we hope you enjoy the sound that allows you to go back and forth between images of not only the place but also the time period.

Like "Donut Hole Rhapsody," the synthesizer-like sounds are made almost entirely with guitar, and the performance, recording (home recording), and mixing are all DIY by Mansei Abe.

    福島県いわき市出身、在住。 主に自費制作映像作品(DVD)「かもめの視線」シリーズ(撮影・製作　酒井英治)の音楽担当(作曲、編曲、録音、演奏) で知られる。1作目は2010年2月に発売され、以降シリーズ作品全て全国流通で販売されている。 いわきの沿岸部を中心にモーターパラグライダーから空撮された同作品を、ライブでもその映像を流しながら演奏する事があり、2011年の東日本大震災後は震災前、その当時の様子、震災後の様子を伝えるというライブも各地で行い評判を呼んでいる。いわき駅のペデストリアンデッキでは長年、かもめの視線の映像と音楽が起用され続けており、いわき市を訪れる人へのいわきを紹介する作品の一部となっている。 2008年から1月からソロで活動開始。アコースティックながらエフェクターを駆使したパフォーマンスが中心。 インストゥルメンタルで、音源ではギターの多重録音で構築された分厚い音世界や、ライブではルーパー(その場でリアルタイムで録音する機械)を多用したアンビエント/エレクトロな即興演奏も行いつつ、 一本で表現するシンプルなアプローチまで幅広く音で表現をしている。 かもめの視線シリーズでも代表される「かもめの鳴き声」など、ギターでギター以外の音を出すのも特徴。 一方で様々なミュージシャン、アーティストとの共演、ライブサポート、楽曲アレンジ、レコーディングなどの活動も多く行っている。
