"arc" is being released as a digital-only single, taken from Rie Nemoto's upcoming third solo album.

The title "arc" reflects the idea that the present moment exists precisely because of the many detours taken along the way. This sentiment grew from the fact that a cherished friend now departealways affirmed this kind of life journey.
Today exists because the path taken was not a straight line, but rather a gentle arc moving forward while occasionally taking side roads.
"arc" was created to cherish memories and express gratitude for the many connections woven together like dots being linked; it is now released as a digital single.
Nemoto's piano, played with deep emotion, is joined by the soft vocals of her close friend LUCA, while Nemoto's own backing vocals envelop the music like a veil of light. The ambient electric guitar work of another close friend, Gen Tanabe, guides the listener into an even more ethereal world.
Gen Tanabe (Studio Camel House) also handled the recording, mixing, and mastering.
The artwork, which uses paper, lines, and shadows to evoke the song's imagery, was created by yuka adeki.
