Lyric

Everything is better

Better on the weekend

Everything is brighter

When the week ends

Monday had me running in circles

Tuesday took a little too long

Wednesday felt like grey on grey

But now I’ve got my favorite song

I see the sun on the windshield

I feel the road under me

The world gets soft around the edges

When I finally feel free

No more countdown

No more waiting

The good mood’s here

And it’s celebrating

Everything is better on the weekend

Better when the sky turns blue

Better with the music playing

Better when I’m next to you

Everything is better on the weekend

Better with the windows down

Better when my heart remembers

How to make a happy sound

Saturday streets and a soft breeze

Sunday plans that change with ease

We don’t need anything expensive

Just a little time to be

If life gets loud again

I’ll know where to go

Back to this feeling

Back to this road

Everything is better on the weekend

Better when the sky turns blue

Better with the music playing

Better when I’m next to you

Everything is better on the weekend

Better with the windows down

Better when my heart remembers

How to make a happy sound

Everything is better

Better on the weekend

Everything is brighter

When the week ends
