A single by the girl rap group "MIC RAW RUGA" produced by E TICKET PRODUCTION. E TICKET PRODUCTION has produced and provided music for artists including KMNZ, RINNEEE (Rinne Yoshida), Nagi Nemoto (ex. Dempagumi.inc), Dekami-chan, and early Rhymeberry.
The sound features retro sound effects reminiscent of 8-bit games, layered over a core ofdrum 'n' bass and 2-step rhythms, with sudden bursts of GABBA elements creating a hybrid specification. A sense of speed and nostalgia intertwine, crafting a soundscape that feels like getting lost inside a game.
The title "KILL SCREEN" refers to the "limit screen" that appeared in classic arcade games. It signifies the predetermined, "unfair wall" where the game forcibly ends after clearing a certain number of stages. MIC RAW RUGA overlays this concept onto their own activities, loudly declaring the group's stance: "Break through any difficulty or limit and advance to the next stage."
The rap lyrics feature catchphrases like "All crash ready?", "Stay raw, baby?", and "We break the kill screen!", embodying the explosive energy of their live performances. Gaming humor fuses with street defiance, challenging listeners to "overcome this impossible world."
"KILL SCREEN" is MIC RAW RUGA's anthem for the future-a crew that keeps breaking through gaming barriers. Repeatedly shouting "WE ARE THE PARTY!!", it stands as one of the ultimate party tunes.
Continuing from the previous work, mastering was handled by WONK's Inoue Kan, while mixing was handled by Korenaga Takuro, who has mixed tracks for YUKI, Sayashi Riho, and Philosophy of Dance.
