人間は本来「自由」である。おおしかの新作「メコスジ」は正にタイトルからしても自由奔放と言う言葉がふさわしい。ユリカゴから墓場まで人間の生と死、いや、性と詩、ん？say とshit 、をテーマに童歌、アニソン、演歌、ハードロック、トランス、ノイズ、歌劇、グラインドコアetc、とにかく一曲一曲が破壊力のあるアルバムになっている。本作はほとんどの楽曲が覆面ボーカリストとのfeaturingで構成されつつ、現在の音楽シーンと逆走したコンプライアンスを一切無視したスタンスは相変わらずブレていない。毒のある児童合唱「上級国民」から始まり、優しさと悲しみに包まれた死別曲「最後とわかっていたら」まで、20曲とは思えないテンポの良さで聴ける。先行配信されたシングル「顔面シャワーな気分」「旅の宿」「ハサミ女」「Pandemic Planet」「社長の息子」のREMIX含む全20曲。このアルバムを聴くと「権力」や「責任」に押し潰される事が馬鹿らしく思えてくる。

    This is a music project by Takae Oshika, who is well known for his solo bar "Oshika" in Shibuya. Based on a mixture of punk with male and female vocals, they sing about the best and worst of "human love" in a wide range of unpredictable music genres, including enka, folk, funk, minimal, hip hop, thrash metal, kids sound, electronic music, etc. The Oshika world, with its straightforward lyrics and no twists, and recorded at home with just an iPhone and the included earphones, is truly an anarchist of the Reiwa era.
