Beyond the horizon, there was breath.
"Suiheisen to Kokyū" (The Horizon and Breathing) is the latest work by Tomohiro Yoshiyama, inspired by a fishing journey aboard the Shōzaburō maru in Sagami Bay. The shimmering leap of mahi-mahi, the shifting tide lines, and the quiet expanse beyond the sea all became sound.
Crafted through delicate MIDI and CC automation, the violin melodies evoke the rhythm of waves and the breath of wind, gently reaching into the listener's inner landscape.
The horizon is not something far away.
It lives within our breath.
A quiet poem where sea and sound converge.
