Oyasumi Midnight, a four-piece girls' band from Sapporo, will release a new song "sukimakaze" with a music video on April 16 to mark the arrival of spring.

In August 2023, the band performed as the opening act for the "Tokyo Initial Impulse National Tour 2023: Student Eat Up Tour," and the following year they welcomed new members and became a full-fledged Sapporo-based band, releasing the single "midnight star" at Tower Records Sapporo PARCO in April 2024. In April 2024, they released the single "midnight star" at Tower Records Sapporo PARCO store and held their first independent project "On the Night the Pillow Falls" in May, and have been active in the front line mainly in Sapporo.

The lyrics for this song were written by Komekome, and the recording, mixing, and mastering were done by Takayuki Oda. The recording was done at Stuoom Recording Studio + Room.

The girls' style of "the view of the world beyond the futon" is strongly reflected in this album, with roaring guitars, mellow vocals, and pleasantly rhythmic drums influenced by genres such as shoegaze, dream pop, and alternative rock.

Their unique sound, which does not flatter anyone, leaves a gentle yet fragile aftertaste like a spring breeze gently brushing your cheeks.
The soft vocals, floating guitars, and powerful drums depict a faint feeling of the changing seasons, and the song gently nestles deep in the heart.
The music video delicately depicts the atmosphere of spring and the scenes of the song, allowing the viewer to enjoy the world of "sukimakaze" both visually and aurally.

The music video for the song will be released on YouTube on the day of its distribution release. And in May, a live concert to celebrate this release will be held at Sapporo PLANT, with performances by Sanban no Kirakira, A certain place in Sapporo, plop, and Whirlflow.
