The classic "Atsuki Kokoro ni" (Atsuki Kokoro ni) was a hit in 1985 when sung by Akira Kobayashi, and it captivated the whole of Japan. With lyrics by Yu Aku and music by Eiichi Ohtaki, two of Japan's leading figures in the music and pop world, it's a masterpiece that will be sung throughout the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras, and for generations to come. When Gota Nishidera visited Taiwan for a solo performance, he happened to attend a local karaoke competition where he sang the song and received rave reviews, prompting him to record this soulful cover, emblematic of this album!
The song was arranged and produced by Ken Tomita (Tomita Yuzuru), who has long been involved with NONA REEVES' performances and albums, and has supported Nishidera's activities as a producer. The rich sound world of 80's synthesizer music is complemented by Gota Nishidera's unique vocals, which elevate the expansive melody and emotion to create an irresistible finish.
