"Anger," OHL's first foray into crossover rock genre, is an ambitious piece that brings a live band into the studio,
unleashing the raw energy of rock and rap to battle it out and merge into one dynamic sound.
The track is produced by Masato Arihara, formerly of drug store cowboy, with lyrics by KTA and KANNA, and rap lyrics by SHURU, who are members of OHL.
This song delivers a powerful message of pushing forward on one's journey by swallowing struggles and suffering, turning them into sources of strength.
It's a song that marks OHL's bold step forward in embracing their new Rock and Dance style.
OHL is a seven-member male dance-vocal group from January 2021. Amidst the coronavirus pandemic which resulted in all planned activities being cancelled, the group took a gamble on their continued existence. Led by the youngest member GEN, they established their own talent agency, "OHL Inc.". In addition to management responsibilities, they also undertake lyric writing, composing, choreography, and all production-related tasks themselves. Their distinctive music style portrays genuine emotions that cannot be found elsewhere, born from the members' shared responsibility. Despite the lack of backing, they set out to prove that they can rise from the "0" state and strive towards their dream of performing live at the Nippon Budokan, both as a challenge and as a form of entertainment to share with the world.
