D.I.Y ongaku farm 1

This work is the first solo project by Nachos Miyahara.
It was created between early 2019 and the present.
I tried to make this piece as naturally as possible, without being distracted by unnecessary thoughts. As a result, it is deeply connected to the events that were happening around me at the time.
During the period of its creation, many things were swirling in my mind. But by turning them into songs, I somehow found a sense of relief.
Living away from Japan, putting distance between myself and my family and friends-this work was born from that space.
I feel a sense of relief that I was finally able to complete it.
Over the past six months, a cyclone hit Puri, my base in India, and at the same time I went through some major personal events. It was a very difficult period.
There were moments when I wanted to give up everything.
But I kept playing the drums. I kept singing.
And I realized once again how fortunate I am to still be able to express what I feel.
To be able to eat, to walk on my own, to go wherever I want, to say what I want to say, to go outside, and to see friends-
I was reminded by someone important to me that these are all things not to be taken for granted.
So no matter how hard things get, I know that I am still fortunate.
With that realization deeply in mind, I decided to keep moving forward and live each day positively.
That is why I wanted to gather everything I had felt over these past few months into one piece of work, which led to the release of this project.
In 2019, many things happened in my life.
But I chose to face them all as challenges and move forward.
