A place in me

The singer-songwriter "sty" has just released his first EP "City and Bops", which has become a hot topic of conversation among city pop listeners and other platforms and media, and his new single "A place in me" has just arrived. Rhodes piano and guitar booms, dry claps and snares, and weighty kicks intertwine groovily. The song has a mellow, warm lo-fi soul/R&B sound with smooth vocals that sound both like singing and rapping, and lyrically, the theme of the song is mental health depression and the pessimism that comes with it, saying "Life is as short as a movie on Netflix". As he says, "I wanted to express the spiritual world that no one else can touch without a single speck of doubt" by doing the whole production process by himself, including writing, composing, arranging, singing, mixing and mastering. At first listen, the flow is fashionable and flowing, but there is a darkness lurking here and there in the lyric that cannot be easily dismissed.
