Sky turns black at noon
Air too thick to breathe
Something's coming, coming fast
Tearing through the leaves[Bridge: all instruments stop, clean guitar
Nowhere left to run
Nowhere left to hide
Feel it rising in the ground
Feel it in my spine
Count the seconds down
Thunder's closing in
Here it comes again
Run — through the storm of summer
Burn — till there's nothing left
Wind and fire, take me higher
I won't look back
Run — through the storm of summer
Scream — till the sky breaks open
Let it fall, let it take it all
I won't look back
Rivers turn to knives
Fields go up in flame
Every window shakes tonight
Calling out my name
I was born in heat
Raised in restless nights
If it's coming for my soul
Then I'll stand and fight
Count the seconds down
Lightning splits the ground
Here it comes again
Run — through the storm of summer
Burn — till there's nothing left
Wind and fire, take me higher
I won't look back
Run — through the storm of summer
Scream — till the sky breaks open
Let it fall, let it take it all
I won't look back
Silence
Just for a moment, silence
The eye is watching me
Blue sky above the ruin
Everything I lost
Scattered at my feet
And I know this isn't over
I can hear the second wall
Turning back for me
And I am not afraid
Not afraid
Not afraid —
Here it comes
Here it comes
Here it comes again
Run — through the storm of summer
Burn — till there's nothing left
Wind and fire, take me higher
I won't look back
Run — through the storm of summer
Scream — till the sky breaks open
Let it fall, let it take it all
I won't —
Look back
Look back
Never look back

KNOX CLASSICS: Sacred Noise
A classical arrangement album by KNOX, an AI virtual rock band.
Bach. Vivaldi. Wagner. Dvorak. Mussorgsky. Verdi. Massenet. Beethoven. Eight themes left behind by eight composers across three centuries, translated into the language of a five-piece rock band. Every source work is in the public domain. Every lyric is original.
It started with a single note the pipe organ breaking the silence. When Bach's toccata was moved onto a distorted guitar, it became clear this could work. What followed was the summer storm, the ride across the battlefield, the demons on bald mountain, the wrath of judgment day, the stillness of meditation. Scenes the originals already carried, rebuilt over drums and overdrive.
This is not classical music quoted. Only the themes were taken; everything else was filled back in with the sound of a band. Counterpoint became riffs. Orchestral mass became layers of guitar. A chorus of hundreds became a single voice. Something was lost. Something else was gained.
The album closes with Beethoven's Ninth the ode to joy. The silence broken in the first track arrives here, eight songs later. After the storm. After the road. After the judgment.
