We left before the morning
With nothing much to say
You laughed and called us crazy
We laughed and walked away
No heroes in the mirror
No angels dressed in white
Just five fools chasing something
We couldn't name that night
Maybe we were wrong
Maybe they were right
Maybe all we ever learned
Was how to lose a fight
So ride
Even when there's nowhere left to go
Ride
Even when the road won't lead you home
We don't need a victory
We don't need a reason why
If this is where the story ends
Then ride with me tonight
We traded years for memories
And sleep for one more song
Somewhere along the journey
We forgot where we belonged
The scars became our history
The failures became names
And every bridge we burned behind us
Still remembers all our flames
Maybe we got lost
Maybe that's alright
You don't need to know the ending
Just to make it through the night
So ride
Even when there's nowhere left to go
Ride
Even when the road won't lead you home
We don't need a victory
We don't need a reason why
If this is where the story ends
Then ride with me tonight
And if tomorrow comes without us
If our names are washed away
If nobody remembers
All the noise we used to make
I don't care
I was here
You were here
We were alive
SO RIDE
Even when there's nowhere left to go
RIDE
Even when the whole damn world says no
We don't need their victory
We don't need their reasons why
We only need this moment
And the fire still inside
So ride
Until the morning finds our eyes
Ride
Until there's nothing left to hide
And if this is where the story ends
Don't turn around
Don't say goodbye
Just ride with me tonight
Ride with me tonight

KNOX CLASSICS: Sacred Noise
A classical arrangement album by KNOX, an AI virtual rock band.
Bach. Vivaldi. Wagner. Dvorak. Mussorgsky. Verdi. Massenet. Beethoven. Eight themes left behind by eight composers across three centuries, translated into the language of a five-piece rock band. Every source work is in the public domain. Every lyric is original.
It started with a single note the pipe organ breaking the silence. When Bach's toccata was moved onto a distorted guitar, it became clear this could work. What followed was the summer storm, the ride across the battlefield, the demons on bald mountain, the wrath of judgment day, the stillness of meditation. Scenes the originals already carried, rebuilt over drums and overdrive.
This is not classical music quoted. Only the themes were taken; everything else was filled back in with the sound of a band. Counterpoint became riffs. Orchestral mass became layers of guitar. A chorus of hundreds became a single voice. Something was lost. Something else was gained.
The album closes with Beethoven's Ninth the ode to joy. The silence broken in the first track arrives here, eight songs later. After the storm. After the road. After the judgment.
