A bright, cloudless morning. A road. A lullaby
Eighty years ago, under this same sky
The bomb fell. The town was lost
A little girl walked the road alone
She found a weak boy crying by a board —
He was injured. He could not find his way home
She held him tightly, in the shade of a tree
"Don't cry," she said. "Mommy is here."
She was not his mother. She was small as he
But her lullaby was real. And it was near
While she sang, the stars came out
Quietly… quietly…
Words are power. Words are light —
Even the smallest voice can be a peace
After a while, the boy fell asleep
The girl slept too — and did not wake
The dead were many. The night was deep
But the song stayed, for everyone's sake
Nuclear weapons still stand on the earth
A president once meant to end a war this way
We have pursued a different worth —
A paper crane, folded with courage, extends to today
While we sing, the stars come out
Quietly… quietly…
Words are power. Words are light —
And a lullaby, passed on, becomes a peace
A bright, cloudless morning. A tree. A song
Sleep well. Sleep well. The world goes on

Sentanbun - Movement 3: Words Have Stayed
KYOKASHO RECORDS
WORD WORLD (Uta-tan) Disc 3 "Grade 9"
An album where every word and grammar point from the junior-high English textbook becomes a lyric. Built around Japan's NEW HORIZON 3 curriculum, with cross-reference tables for other major textbooks on every track page.
All 12 songs form a graduation album: in their third spring, the world finally comes to Kai, Bird, and Mina. The musical backbone is choir - the one form of music every Japanese ninth-grader shares. Present perfect looks back on three years, relative clauses call old friends home, the subjunctive mood turns toward hope, and the final track brings everyone back to the melody of Track 1.
Track 13, "Sentanbun (Movement 3)," is a bonus track that packs all 419 words of the third-year vocabulary list into a single six-and-a-half-minute song. Across all three grades, the trilogy covers Japan's full 1,486-word junior-high vocabulary in about 19 minutes total.
