The album was created for a joint exhibition with the sculptor Mochiya Sachikoubou, known for her Japanese-style works featuring foxes, in 2020.
The concept is based on the Yin-Yang Five Elements, expressing the four seasons of foxes through traditional Japanese music.
Various expressions of fire and water were recorded. The sound of flutes, drums, kotos, and shōs reminiscent of traditional Japanese instruments harmonizes with the sounds of earth and iron bells.
