In February 2025, "westman8" released their third single "WORLD DIVE".

Music writer "yohei nishi", who belongs to the pop band "balconny" based in Fukuoka and active nationwide, and who has produced and provided numerous songs, began releasing them under the name "westman8" in 2025 by using AI to rearrange his own songs.

The theme of this work is "the despair and hope of this world". It was created with the image of an ending theme song for an apocalyptic movie about a devastated world. It has a medium tempo, sad lyrics and a melancholy melody, and the inclusion of English lyrics creates an even more desolate atmosphere.     Yohei Nishi, a Fukuoka-based bandman/music composer, is a talented musician who has produced numerous songs and provided songs to other artists. He is a former member of the happy rock band Black1Neck, which debuted as the number one band in Fukuoka, and is currently a member of the pop band Balconny, where he plays bass and writes most of the songs. In 2025, under the solo name Westman8, he began full-scale music production and distribution using AI.
