The moon rises high over an Edo night.
As red lanterns begin to glow, humans and yokai gather without distinction, turning the streets into a grand Hyakki Yagyo Festival.
A dancing Nekomata leads the celebration while Tengu wave their fans, Kappa clap along, and Oni thunder on massive taiko drums.
"Ayakashi Kappore!" is a joyful fusion of the traditional Japanese Kappore dance with dusty Boom-Bap hip-hop, bringing the spirit of Edo festivals into the world of Yokai Grand Music Festival.
Ancient yet fresh, playful yet nostalgic.
Once the chant of "Yoitona Yoiyoi!" begins, everyone is drawn into the circle.
Humans and spirits alike become friends through music and dance.
Follow the glow of the lanterns, dance beneath the full moon, and celebrate together until the break of dawn.
Kappore! Kappore!
Liminal Reverie is an instrumental music project centered on the theme between reality and dreams. Between day and night. After the crowds fade away. Moments where reality and dreams have not yet fully separated. Liminal Reverie turns the lingering presence, afterglow, and quiet atmosphere of those moments into sound. The project is built on two complementary musical axes: Japanese side: Edo Lofi Western side: Liminal Reverie Each explores a different world, while sharing the same sense of liminality.
