AYA is a singer-songwriter from Fukuchiyama, Kyoto, now based in Akita, Japan. She began her musical career in 2005 and has continued to release music consistently, while also writing and providing songs for other artists. AYA is also the lyricist, composer, and vocalist of the digital pop unit DEKILUCO, showcasing a different facet of her creative style. In September 2025, she opened Crawl, a music bar she founded in Akita City. In December of the same year, she released her 3rd full album Crawl, marking the 20th anniversary of her artistic journey. The album reflects a desire to start again from zero,capturing both her growth and her ever-evolving sound.
