The lyrics within this album were scribbled down seven years ago, written in real-time for M, the first person he loved from the bottom of his heart. They are the exact "DNA" of his artistry.

While the EP "M, Reconsidered" served as a monologue of departure, "forM" harbors the raw passion, madness, and sweet nightly atmosphere that he once poured into M under the moniker "M boy." Seven years later, those stinging lyrics from his teenage years meet Emo Station's matured glitch aesthetics and precise soundscapes, fully reconstructed into cutting-edge alternative music.

From "Shadow" and "Scream," searching for their contours in the dark, to the distant orbits of "Satellite." From the hazardous nightly escapes of "Flight" and "Night Wing," to the finale "Forever and Ever," proving the eternal, comforting temperature they once shared.

This is no mere fixation on the past, but a ritual of rebirth-wrapping his own origins in today's steady temperature to let them soar into a new light. The most personal, beautiful, and timeless record of love dedicated to a single muse.

  • Emo Station

    Emo Station is an artist and producer based in Yokohama, Japan. Moving across Hyperpop, Emo Rap, Glitchcore, Ambient, Electronic, and other genres, Emo Station works in a fully DIY style, handling lyrics, composition, beat production, recording, mixing, and mastering independently. The work begins with things actually observed and experienced in everyday life: memory, distance, solitude, trust, the body, life and death, and emotions that cannot always be fully translated into words. Rather than reducing these experiences to a single conclusion, Emo Station preserves them in music as they appeared and felt at a particular moment. Fluctuation is one important element of this approach. Instead of forcing things into black or white, the work often explores what exists in between, as well as feelings and perceptions that continue to change over time. After developing schizophrenia in 2021 and later experiencing periods of hospitalization, Emo Station continued to rebuild and expand a creative practice. These experiences remain part of the background of the work, but they do not define the entire story. Ordinary days, small observations, humor, and seemingly insignificant moments are treated with the same importance. Beyond music, Emo Station also works across different forms of expression, including the AI-assisted music project Misery, the fashion brand forM, and independently developed games. For Emo Station, art is not necessarily a way to provide answers. It is a way to document what was there at a particular moment. The work continues to change, while remaining grounded in one principle: being honest with one's own perception.
