Oh! Friends, the two geniuses threatening to shake up the Japanese indie rock scene, have released their long-awaited first full-length album "RESPECT!
A two-piece minimal rock'n'roll band from Tokyo, formed in August 2022 by Hiroyuki Takahashi on vocals and bass, and Kodai Kudo on drums and chorus. The band's name comes from Rebecca's "Friends. The band's name comes from Rebecca's "Friends". Takahashi, who had been developing the idea of "rock 'n' roll that makes your body sway," fell in love with Kudo's groove and decided to form Oh! The group released its debut single "Neverland" on October 22 of the same year, and took the stage for the first time at 20,000 Voltage in Higashi-Koenji on the same day. They have been performing mainly in the Kanto area, and are scheduled to release their first full album "Respect" in June 2025.
