Late night, Lights low
You landed on my shoulder
Soft weight
Teach my restless heart to read
3 a.m
Speak through me
Gold eyes in the dark
For the nights you drift
Wings on the wind
When I kill the light
Wisdom comes
Dog‑eared page
Open like unanswered prayers
You say
Wisdom is a just bruise after trust
I keep chasing the dawn
With my back to it now
We don’t know a thing
Till the moment is gone
The owl of her takes its flight
Only when the shades of night are gathering
She just blinks
Like she’s seen it all somewhere
With languages of the night

Formed in 2007 by guitarist Makoto Gomi, the group took a break after releasing its third album in 2011, but resumed its activities in 2022 with the release of its fourth album after 11 years, featuring Shoko Inoue as a new vocalist. Based on a shoegaze sound filled with guitars that combine delicacy and exuberance, the progressive rhythmic approach and nostalgic piano melodies that evoke Scandinavian electronica are intertwined with a meticulously calculated sound image, and the innocent breathy voice of Shoko is layered to create a lyrical soundscape.
