The wind it calls the melodies
A tune that sets the spirit free
We are part of this grand song
Not apart
A song that never says goodbye
Our hearts beat with the roots below
In her embrace
Eternity
She heed their call
In her arms the forest breathes
The wind it calls the melodies
A song that never says goodbye
Her tears the rain that fills the seas
Her breath is wind through cedar trees
We find our place
In her songs that know it all

Artist Profile
sphere
Formed in 2007 by guitarist Makoto Gomi, the group took a break after releasing its third album in 2011, but resumed its activities in 2022 with the release of its fourth album after 11 years, featuring Shoko Inoue as a new vocalist. Based on a shoegaze sound filled with guitars that combine delicacy and exuberance, the progressive rhythmic approach and nostalgic piano melodies that evoke Scandinavian electronica are intertwined with a meticulously calculated sound image, and the innocent breathy voice of Shoko is layered to create a lyrical soundscape.
