This is the first release of 2026 from inspi+.
Marking their 31st release overall, this track is drawn from a sense of living vitality, a heart turning dry and almost inorganic, and the sorrow of losing momentum.
The joy of losing-
even if I try to take it back, it can never be regained.
In such a state, I do not struggle,
but simply find myself holding a sense of resignation.
Passion-something that once needed no words-
I now find myself seeking.
No matter how much I long for it, how much I crave it,
it no longer arises from within...
I only reach for a sensation that has already left my body.
Such is this song.
[Inspi+] is a production team that focuses on following inspiration and expressing sincere intuition, rather than creating something that is generally preferred by someone.
In 2014, Sayuri Kusanagi won first place in the Solo Division of the National Gospel Koshien competition. She has since appeared on television, performed singing roles for overseas animations, worked as a hotel lounge singer, contributed to recording sessions as a backing vocalist, and served as a vocal coach. In Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa, she was recognized as "the only Japanese artist who can sing in the local language" and received offers to perform with percussionist Oswald Kouame. Together, they appeared in local concerts, television programs, and radio shows. Alongside her solo career, Sayuri launched the duo project inspi+ with guitarist Yoshiro Makimoto. Their genre-defying musical style and her soulful voice continue to captivate a wide audience.
