The Essays in Song is a series by Yuuka Kurosaki, created in collaboration with Date Naoko, a scenario writer who also writes lyrics. The series captures fleeting thoughts and subtle feelings from everyday life with the intimacy of a personal monologue. Rather than expressing emotions in an overt or dramatic way, it quietly draws out the hidden truths, hesitations, and emotional shifts that surface in moments of solitude.

Atashi no Karada is the fourth installment in the Essays in Song series. Reflecting on the body that has been with us since birth, the song gradually reveals the subtle gap between the self we want to present and the self that others actually see. With lyrics that are slightly humorous yet touched by a philosophical perspective, it offers a quiet gaze toward both personal existence and the body itself.

This work is also the first release in the Essays in Song series to be presented in a LIVE FEEL version. Beginning in a whisper-like tone and slowly building emotional intensity toward the second half, the song is paired with the intimate atmosphere of a small live house, bringing its world to life in a more vivid and dimensional way.
