An intimate acoustic ballad capturing the raw confrontation with past memories in the stillness of the night.
Centered on the warm fingerpicking of a nylon-string guitar, the delicate, breathy vocals carefully weave a world where regret and affection intertwine.
Through a minimal arrangement that strips away all excess, even the subtle slides of the strings and the ambient air of the room become part of the music.
This track is dedicated to everyone spending a lonely night holding onto "words left unsaid."
I grew up in a household where the sound of the shakuhachi woke me each morning, surrounded by the presence of the koto and piano. Immersed in traditional Japanese music from a young age, I later spent my formative years absorbing a diverse array of genres without boundaries. Today, those roots form the foundation of my work as I pursue a "Neo-Japan Sound" centered on techno and electromusic. My goal is to update traditional Japanese sensibilities for the modern era through free-form composition that defies convention. Moving beyond fixed concepts and cherishing the inspiration of the moment, I strive to create a multifaceted world of sound driven by endless curiosity.
