Piano Meditations II

This is his new piano-improvisation album performed by Wataru Sato,who has energetically been creating post-classical and electronic titles,and is also the leader of Gecko&Tokage Parade which is known as a new star of modern-jazz scene in Japan.
Piano Meditations which was released in 2020,early days of coronavirus pandemic consists of improvisations intermittently recorded by Wataru for over 3 years.
This new album"Piano Meditations II" mainly collects pieces recorded at Canon House Kamakura,Japan,which has also been used for recording of his previous album"Fading Spaces."
Among the pieces,some pieces are scattered,recorded by his private pianos(Yamaha,Kawai) and OHHASHI piano(Japanese vintage piano) belonging to anre*f studio yatsugatake(located on the midslope of Yatsugatake mountain.),which gently link various relation,places and time bases.
The improvisations are never too abstract but listeners will hear the transition of time and places.

This is also the first release from his new record label"Bookshop Label" and this album will be released in both digital and cassette tape(lately) formats.
