A door. Just a door. Easy to open, right?
But easy for whom? Look again, look twice
At the city hall, the staff showed us around:
An automatic door, an adjustable tap
A ramp beside the stairs, a yellow sign on the ground —
A wheelchair rolled up smoothly, no gap
Both left-handed and right-handed hands can pull
A mother with baggage, an elderly man, the young —
To design is to imagine someone else in full
"Over here!" — the door opened for everyone
Everyone is able to enter. Everyone is free to stay
That is what fair means — not the same, but true
Words are power. Words are light
A door to welcome you is a word made new
An American professor spoke of his childhood:
"I wasn't able to hold a product in my hand
So I learned to remove the walls where I stood
Universal design — to help was my plan."
Regardless of ability, regardless of age
A public facility should open its heart
Thanks to a useful thought on a page
The accessible world got its start
The idea spread from a center to the whole —
To touch, to enter, to live: that is the goal
Everyone is able to enter. Everyone is free to stay
That is what it means — a town that's true
Words are power. Words are light
We learned to build a door today. For you
A door. Just a door. But now we see —
It was a letter, addressed to you and me

Sentanbun - Movement 2: Words Will Fly
KYOKASHO RECORDS
WORD WORLD (Uta-tan) Disc 2 "Grade 8"
An album where every word and grammar point from the junior-high English textbook becomes a lyric. Built around Japan's NEW HORIZON 2 curriculum, with cross-reference tables for other major textbooks on every track page.
All 12 songs continue the story from Disc 1: Kai, his companion Bird, and Mina leave the English-only world behind and set out for a city where many languages are spoken at once. Grade-8 grammar - past tense, past progressive, through to the passive voice - unfolds naturally through their journey.
Track 13, "Sentanbun (Movement 2)," is a bonus track that packs all 485 words of the second-year vocabulary list into a single six-minute song. Across all three grades, the trilogy covers Japan's full 1,486-word junior-high vocabulary in about 19 minutes total.
