容赦ない雨。
濡れたわたしの全身に、それでもまだ叩きつけるように降り注いでいる。
身体中が痛む。なんとか目を開く。視界からは、たいした情報は得られなかった。
数時間前と変わらない景色から、まだわたしは生きている、ということだけはわかった。
服は捨て置かれていた。どうにか身体を起こして、身に纏う。
キリグモには、ほとんどの荷物を持っていかれていた。通信機も奪われていた。
涙は出なかった。
でも、泣いてしまったほうが、楽だったかもしれない。
わたしが生き延びたのは、通信機のおかげだろうか。
発信中の音色が、キリグモの興味を引いたんだろう。
あの音色……。
だめだ。思い出せない。
あんなに何度も聴いた音なのにどうしても思い出せない。
──ぼくの旅は、ここで終わりなんだ。
その言葉が頭の中を繰り返し巡った。
「ノラエ……」
わたしの旅は、まだ終わるわけにはいかない。
立ち上がって、濡れた服に袖を通し、裸足のまま靴を履く。
全身の不快感だけが、わたしのそばにあった。
靴に染み込んだ雨水を、かかとが押し出すのを感じながら、わたしは一歩を踏み出した。
数時間、土の上を歩き続けた。明け始めた空。
少しずつ下っていく道の先に、新しい景色が広がる。
背の高い建物があった。塔のように見える。
てっぺんの数字のマークは、ノラエから聞いたことがある。
ずっと昔には、どんなものでも揃っていて、溢れるように人が出入りしていた、ショッピングモールという施設。
いつか一緒に行ってみたいと、ノラエはわたしに言ってくれた。
一日中探索してもし尽くせないらしいよと、楽しそうに語るノラエを思い出す。
少しだけ、進む力が湧いてきた。

Mizoha is a young girl who continues her journey in a world that has come to an end. As a member of a search party looking for "stories" lost from the world long ago, she and a boy named Norae, who is also a member of the search party, encourage each other through a communication device as they head toward their destination. The answer they find at the end of their journey is .......
This is Yukinifull's first musical reading play, in which the world of the story unfolds through readings and music throughout the entire piece.
Artist Profile
yukinifuru
A unit based on the concept of storytelling and music. Named after the motif of "something" that falls on the world covered with coldness and fragility, which they compare to "snow," the unit expresses a unique worldview based on the themes of home and place, regret and loss, and the will of continuing to live. The work, which includes a novel and CD, is painstakingly depicted with a certain reality, and reveals an overwhelming world of poetry that is both fictional and real at the same time.
