Asunaro Hakuchumu Announces First Full Album Magical Girl Encyclopedia and First Nationwide Tour
At their self-hosted event "6-Jo ni 6-Jo to 6-Jo" held on February 10, Asunaro Hakuchumu-now performing with a new lineup-announced the release of their first full-length album Magical Girl Encyclopedia, which will be their first record to receive nationwide physical distribution. Along with the release, the band has also confirmed their first nationwide tour titled "Hajime no Hajime no Daiippo I."
Blending nostalgic melodies reminiscent of Showa-era Japanese pop with the sharp edge of modern alternative rock, Asunaro Hakuchumu has built a unique musical world of their own. The band has gained support from early listeners mainly through digital releases, and on May 27, they will release their first nationwide distribution album, Magical Girl Encyclopedia.
The album features their representative songs that received strong reactions through digital releases, including "Akuma ni Zukkyun," "Yonchome no Yūutsu," and "Ushiro no Shōmen Dare." It also includes newly re-recorded versions of "Polaroid Rinko" and "Miseinen no Shuchō," songs that have been performed live since the band's early days, now captured with the band's current energy.
In addition, the album contains several newly written tracks such as the high-speed and emotionally intense lead track "Helter Skelter," the dangerously charming "Toshishita no Otokonoko wa Sensei o XXX," and the deeply emotional "Hibari." Together, these songs showcase the band's clear artistic evolution.
Featuring 12 tracks in total, Magical Girl Encyclopedia stands as a definitive work that connects Asunaro Hakuchumu's past and future.
With the release, the band will embark on their nationwide tour "Hajime no Hajime no Daiippo I," bringing the world of Magical Girl Encyclopedia to audiences across Japan.
