上⽩⽯萌⾳のアルバム『note』収録の”⼟砂降り”の詞を担当したことも話題の北海道出⾝のシンガー・ソングライター、爽(sawa)。
すでに配信シングルとしてリリースされている「RAINY」「ハルジオン」を含む7曲を宅録・リモート中⼼に紡がれている。
共同アレンジ・ディレクションにOffiicial髭男Dismや奥華子、ポルノグラフィティ等の制作やライブで活躍するKeyboardistの幡宮航太が参加し、爽の持つ素直なPOPSとルーツであるオルタナR&Bを丁寧に混在・昇華させた聞き応えのある作品になっている。
またTrack-1「answer」をはじめ、自主リリースながら多くの収録曲がテレビCMやweb CM等のタイアップに抜擢されている。
2020年の閉塞的な社会状況のなか、⼈との繋がりや⽣活に焦点を置きながら、⾃⾝を育てた環境への恩返しを込めて故郷・札幌から自主リリースした今作は、アーティスト・『爽』の言葉・音全てを恋しく感じる、苦しさのある日々にそばに置かずにはいられなくなる一枚。
